Full Membership

N50,000 Per Year

Those who have completed a degree or masters level ABA Coursework with evidence of completing same (transcript from a recognised institution).

Paraprofessional Membership

N35,000 Per Year

Those who have completed RBT coursework but have not sat for certification exams and not listed on any registry.

Affiliate Membership

N30,000 Per Year

This is open to applicants who are working in the field of Behaviour Analysis but do not meet requirements for other membership categories.

Non-professional Associate Membership

N20,000 Per Year

This membership level is for those lacking graduate-level training; parents, guardians, advocates.

Honorary Membership

This is based on the contribution the member has made to ABAN and the Development and Practice of behaviour analysis.

This membership is not open to everyone.

Student Membership

N5,000 Per Year

This membership is for those directly or indirectly related to the field of Behaviour Analysis – OT, PT, SLP, SW, COUNSELING, PSYCHOLOGY, education.

The executive committee, by a two-thirds majority vote, may suspend or expel any member for cause after appropriate notice and hearing. By a two-thirds majority vote, the committee may also reinstate a former member on such terms as it deems appropriate.

Dues

Dues for the various categories of membership shall be established by a simple majority vote of the board. This action can be rescinded by a three-fifths majority vote of those present and voting at the annual business meeting of the association. In this case the board shall propose an alternate schedule of dues for approval by simple majority of those present and voting.

Registration and Dues: Annual Deadline Jan. 30.

Collection

Dues shall be payable in the time and manner prescribed by the board and published to the membership at large at least six months prior to the due date.

Any member who has not paid his or her yearly dues shall not be allowed to vote on any matter presented to the members.
